Note the bottom of the lamp -- a spring loaded base for attaching the lamp to a square switch stand post This is a recent "barn find" I dusted it off a bit but basically this is exactly as found, cobwebs & all. There's rust but not rot. The lenses have some outer scuffing but are intact. There are 2 amber & 2 blue lenses. No cracks or chips that I can see. Has the original lantern insert with the Pyrex glass. Near the company name at the top there are a couple more areas of print with dates. This print is very hard to make out as shown in images.
I believe it's early 1900's but you Railroad collectors will probably know more. I left this without cleaning it to give the best possible idea of what you'll have to do, if anuthing. It looks spectacular the way it is in my amateur opinion. Measures approx 15" high X 9" wide.
