Antique Victorian Oil Hanging Lamp circa 1890s. Polychrome bird (swallows) and floral waterscape with pink shading. Opaque white glass shade and glass font converted for electric use, embossed "Clark Brothers" on bottom of globular base and No. 2 Queen Anne on oil burner. Clark Brothers produced glass lamps in Trenton, NJ in the late 1890s until approximately 1903 at the latest. Good age-appropriate condition with light patina to brass/metal. Some plaster/paint spots on ceiling medallion. No cracks or chips in any of the glass. Electric cord terminates in cut wires which were operational at time of listing - no visible switch on lamp and appears designed to operate via ceiling canopy mount/wall switch. Please see pics for further condition evaluation. I do not guarantee operation or completeness. 32 prisms were stored with this lamp and are included - free - as a bonus. They are very old, fragile, and several show wear. Lamp measures approximately 30"H x 18" W (facing) x 14.5 D. Glass shade measures approximately 14" diameter at base x 7"H x 6.25 diameter at top.
