Gorgeous Antique Victorian Cranberry Bullseye Hanging Converted Oil Lamp w/ Matching Font. We are offering for sale this exquisite antique Victorian era cranberry bullseye hanging lamp. This scarce lamp has a beautifully detailed brass holder accented with cranberry insets matching the shade and font. There are over forty crystal prisms and a brass smoke bell. This is an oil lamp that has been converted to electric but could easily be converted back to oil with the addition of a burner. The original height adjustment mechanism is still present inside the ceiling canopy but has been wired to stay in a stationary position, probably when the lamp was converted to electric. The overall height of the lamp is about 32", the brass framework with the cranberry insets at the bottom of the lamp measures about 16" across and the shade is about 14" in diameter and 7" tall. The condition is excellent, the glass shade and font have no chips or cracks. There is a tiny piece broken off on the metal collar below the smoke bell which is barely noticeable (see photo) and does not really affect anything. This is a stunning lamp you will love with all the bells and whistles. We will package it with extreme care.
