This is an original Victorian gone with the wind style oil lamp with matching green, orange, white, and brown painted glass lamp and globe pieces, both with Asian pagoda and landscape scenes on the front and back. The lamp has been electrified so the top lights up with a standard bulb and the wick knob turns the light on and off. The entire piece is in excellent condition; there is no visible damage to the glass pieces, the paint looks very good with very little wear, the original gold finish is intact on the base (it has acquired some minor wear and an aged patina), the lamp stands up straight, and is solid, sturdy, and fully functional. It comes complete with a clear glass chimney. The cord and plug are in like-new condition with no damage.
The bottom of the base is numbered 187. The lamp stands 21" H and the globe measures 8" in diameter.
