Antique Double Student Desk Oil Lamp Kosmos Brenner (Burner) Not Converted
A very nice student oil lamp featuring two burners with milk glass shades and clear chimneys. The burners can be raised or lowered.
The wick knob is marked. Never use force to remove any parts.
While some parts are threaded, others use different latching mechanisms. Some parts require lubricant to work. Ask someone knowledgeable if you don. T know how to properly prepare for lighting. Item is in excellent used condition. Hairline at the top; the other chimney has a. The wick knobs are stiff and will not turn with minimal pressure. Is supplied when the wicks are standing in oil.It is possible they don. T work, but I would be surprised as the wicks do show signs of use. Please view photos as they are part of description.
Can be raised higher but too high and the lamp loses center of gravity, 17. ¾ base diameter, 5 shade diameter, 15 ½ widest point (shade to shade), 7+ pounds.
