This is a truly unique, super rare cast-iron ceiling fixture with a hand painted floral glass milky white shade. Excellent condition in all respects, picture perfect styling and design, and just a beautiful overall piece.

It hangs from a ceiling hook, and there are three chains that attach to the fixture and act as a pulley system to raise and lower the entire ceiling fixture nearly effortlessly. Look at pictures closely, youll see what Im talking about. There is a cast-iron basket that holds an oil lamp, but for modern purposes it can either hold a candle, or perhaps a plant or anything else you can think of that you might put in a chandelier that hangs from the ceiling. The fixture originally wouldve had a plain white shade, which has since been hand painted and signed, very nicely I might add. The glass shade has beautiful hand painted leaves and roses painted on it, and is in flawless condition with no chips, scratches or otherwise. It is a little hard to read the signature, but I think it is signed Amber Woodler or Amber Woodlee. Anybody in need or want of a ceiling fixture that doesnt need it electrified, should seriously consider this one. It is one of the coolest ceiling fixtures Ive ever seen, I almost want to keep it.

I just dont keep anything, but this one is a winner! It hangs between 30 and 40 from the ceiling depending on where you have it set. The shade diameter is 14 inches, and the part closest to the ceiling measures approximately 7 inches in diameter. Please look at pictures closely.

If you were to see this fixture in person you would absolutely fall in love, and the pictures dont do it justice unless you really look at them closely and understand what it is that I have presented.
